Actual Weight and Volumetric Weight

What Is Actual Weight?
Actual weight refers to the sum of the weight of all the goods, the weight of the corresponding packaging materials, and the weight of any value-added packaging materials.

What Is Volumetric Weight?
Volumetric weight is a commonly used billing method in the logistics market. When the size of an item is large but the actual weight is small, volumetric weight billing is used.
The calculation for volumetric weight is as follows:
Package Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / 5000 (or 6000, 7000, 8000 depending on the specific standards of the third-party logistics provider) = Volumetric Weight (kg).
